04
Tailored draft
Rewritten summary and bullets using only your facts. You accept, reject or edit each change.

Cover letter & interview prep
Optional, based on the same verified information, within your plan's limits.
Why tailoring matters
Recruiters and applicant tracking systems look for evidence of specific requirements. A resume that clearly shows the skills and experience a job asks for is easier to shortlist than a generic one, even when the experience behind both is the same.
How to tailor a resume step by step
Step 1
Read the job description closely
List the required skills, tools, qualifications and responsibilities, and separate must-haves from nice-to-haves.
Step 2
Map your evidence
For each requirement, find a role, project or achievement that proves it. Note gaps honestly.
Step 3
Rewrite the summary
Lead with the experience most relevant to this role, in two to four sentences.
Step 4
Reorder and refine bullets
Move the most relevant achievements up and use the employer's terminology where it accurately describes your work.
Step 5
Check the result
Re-score the match and read the result as a recruiter would.

Frequently asked questions
Is tailoring a resume dishonest?
No. Tailoring is choosing which true experience to emphasise and describing it in the employer's language. Adding skills you do not have is not tailoring.
How long does it take?
Usually a few minutes per job once your main resume is complete.
Is resume tailoring free?
Analysis and editing are free. Downloading the tailored resume needs a paid plan.
